Q1: Can anyone else put words and pictures on my web site ?

A1:  No. When I design / create a web page for you, it lives on my PC as a file e.g. -yourpage.htm. To make this page available on your web site, I would use a special program to transfer it to the designated place on your hosting company's server. To do this I would need to know:

1. The address to which the file is to be transferred.

2. The user name

3. The password

Only someone with access to these 3 data can put anything on your web site.

Q2: What happens if we fall out or something else goes wrong ?

A2:  No problem. When I create your site, I will provide you with everything you will need to brief another web author:

Every file on your web site including HTML pages, images, documents, etc.

The 3 data your new web author will need to transfer files to your site.
